About MatchMate

Simple, fast, free football tools built by fans, for fans — wherever in the world you watch the game.

Why we built MatchMate

Following football across timezones is harder than it should be. A match listed as "Saturday 17:30" means something completely different to a fan in New York, Mumbai, Sydney or Lagos — and broadcasters move kickoff times around with only a few weeks' notice. We kept doing the same timezone conversions over and over, so we built a tool to do it for us. MatchMate grew out of that simple frustration into a small set of utilities that answer the questions football fans actually ask: What time does my team play in my timezone? How do these two players compare? How many points do we need to stay up?

MatchMate is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any football club, league, or broadcaster. Club names, stadiums and competitions are referenced for informational purposes only.

What you can do here

How our data works

Timezone conversions are handled entirely in your browser using the standard IANA timezone database, so they reflect daylight-saving changes automatically. Player and squad information is retrieved live from a professional football data provider when you search. Kickoff windows, broadcaster listings and stadium details on our team and league pages are maintained by hand and reviewed regularly — but because clubs and TV partners change schedules frequently, we always recommend confirming the exact time with the official source before you plan your matchday.

Free and open to everyone

MatchMate is completely free to use and requires no account or sign-up. The site is supported by advertising, which lets us keep every tool open to all fans. You can read how we handle cookies and advertising in our Privacy Policy.
